Green Chili Pork Chop

I love green chilies for their amazing flavor with only a slight kick. Which makes them very tolerable and not very spicy. Great flavor for sure though.

My dad used to make real pork green chili all the time. It was always one of my favorites. So, over the years, I’ve created my own version. You could say this is a play on pork green chili, but this is definitely the easier route of the two, but still has great taste to it.

I like to use thin pork chops for this dish, but you can also use thick pork chops as well. Whichever you prefer honestly.

INGREDIENTS

4 thin pork chops (I like the thin chops, but it doesn’t matter)

1 small can green chilies

2 cloves of garlic

A few dashes of Salt

A few dashes of Pepper

2 tsp Onion flakes

1 tbsp Extra virgin Olive oil

DIRECTIONS

1. Add green chilies, garlic, salt, pepper, onion flakes & olive oil together in a small container

2. Put in a bag with the pork chops

3. Marinate for 1 hour

4. Cook the pork chops over medium heat for 5 minutes on both sides or until meat starts to brown/caramalize.

5. Take off heat and enjoy
